What happened

The rider says they own a Cowboy C4 ST, bought on preorder, and that it is affected by Cowboy's frame recall: the same defect documented in report 001. Their submission was brief, so in June 2026 we put questions to them to establish their own situation.

Because the recall itself is already documented, we did not ask them to re-supply the recall correspondence; what we asked was specific to them, namely whether their frame had actually failed and what, if anything, Cowboy had done for them. No answer had been received when this site was archived in July 2026, and nothing here has been independently verified.
